Nutritional Assessment Report (NAR)
NAR is a crop nutrition diagnostic technique that has been developed by INM and that is exclusive to INM Pty Ltd, HORTUS, its agents and its distributors. It is the epitome of a series of improvements in diagnostic skills.
Crop tissue analytical data are as good as their interpretation. No matter how accurately a sample has been collected, how thoroughly it has been washed, and how accurately it has been analysed, not unless the analysis figures are properly interpreted, they become totally useless.
INM does not stop at furnishing balanced nutrition to crops. It goes further to suggest selective feeding for the purpose of seeding specific crop targets as set by the grower.

Sampling Overview
Sampling of soil, plant and water are taken to assist the grower to achieve specific quality or yield targets. These targets must be clearly established with the grower.
- Crop details together with the established targets are recorded in our database via our online Sample Info Form (available from the Technical Services link).
- Basic information is then recorded on the Sample Lab Label (sticker) wich is adhered to the physical sample which is then sent to the laboratory in the Express Bag provided.
- A Unique Serial Number is generated when the Sample Info Sheet is submitted online, which will be also present on the Sample Label included in the Test Kit upon mailout. This correlating serial number is used to marry the analytical results of the sample to the Sample Info Sheet, ensuring comprehensive recommendations can be made.
